Annual fees for their Freestyle Credit Card depends on the credit limit of the card:

For cards with a limit of $3,000 there is no annual fee. For cards with a $3,001 to $5,000 credit limit, annual fee will be $49.

Monthly fees: $0 for balances under $20 and $5 for balances over $20

Cash advance fee is 1.5%

Interest rate: A rate from 18.24% p.a. to 23.24% p.a. (based on your credit score) applies thereafter

MoneyMe Application Process

How to Apply

To apply for a loan with MoneyMe, you can follow these simple steps:

  1. Visit the MoneyMe website (www.moneyme.com.au) and select the loan product you are interested in, such as a personal loan or credit card.
  2. Fill out the online application form, which will require you to provide some personal and financial information, including your name, address, income, and expenses.
  3. MoneyMe will then assess your application and provide a decision as quickly as possible, often within minutes. It’s possible that MoneyMe may need to contact you by phone to verify some of the information you provided in your application or to clarify any questions they may have about your application.1
  4. If your application is approved, you will be sent a loan contract to review and sign electronically.
  5. Once you have signed the loan contract, the funds will be transferred to your nominated bank account. If you are applying for a credit card, you will need to activate the card before you can use it.

The application form may be completed in 3 to 5 minutes. If the application is completed within the company’s business hours, the application can be approved the same day. Additionally, you may use the online loan calculator to select the amount you want to borrow and the repayment period.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for both Personal Loan and Freestyle Virtual Mastercard, you must have the following credentials:

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • You must be a citizen or a permanent resident of Australia.
  • Be employed full-time or on a permanent part-time basis.
  • Share your bank details as proof of income.

The online application form will ask for information such as your mobile phone number, valid email address, details of your income, and any other bills and responsibilities you currently have. The lender will run a check to find out if you have a bad credit history to make sure you are a responsible borrower that can afford the loan.

You will also be required to provide your desired loan amount as well as the purpose of the loan. Using the secure Proviso technology, the firm will access your most recent 90-day banking statements.

How is the money transferred?

For personal loans, funds will also be transferred immediately after loan approval and your acceptance of the loan terms. If the personal loan application is made outside office hours and the borrower uses a bank account other than the Commonwealth Bank, loan proceeds will be transferred at the start of the next working day.

For Freestyle Virtual Mastercard applicants, approval can take anywhere from a few minutes to an hour. After approval, the virtual card will be instantly accessible to you.

Additionally, if you are applying for a credit card with MoneyMe, you will need to activate the card before you can use it. Once the card is activated, you can use it to make purchases in-store or online, just like any other credit card. You can also transfer funds from your credit card to your nominated bank account, although this may incur additional fees and interest charges.
